How often should I train with a personal trainer?

The frequency depends on your goals, schedule, and budget. Many clients start with 2–3 sessions per week to build momentum and learn proper technique. Over time, some shift to weekly or biweekly check-ins while continuing solo workouts. Coach André will help you find a rhythm that balances consistency with autonomy. You will also receive workouts and mobility exercises to do at home.

What is group training and how does it differ from personal training?

Group training involves working out in a small group—usually 5 to 15 people—led by a certified trainer. Unlike personal training, which is one-on-one, group sessions follow a shared workout plan designed to be scalable for different fitness levels. The energy, camaraderie, and motivation from others often make group training more dynamic and fun.

How often will we communicate and how will the support/feedback process look like?

For triathletes and online personal training clients, I offer monthly one-on-one sessions, either virtually or in person, lasting 50 minutes each. In between sessions, I use Training Peaks to monitor your workouts daily and provide continuous feedback and guidance. You’ll receive ongoing support throughout your training—emails are always responded to within 24 hours, and I’m available for brief check-ins (such as a 10-minute call) whenever something urgent or specific needs attention. Personal training clients receive continuous support and feedback during their regular sessions.

What is involved in a triathlon training program at TriLife+?

Triathlon training combines swimming, cycling, and running into a structured plan that builds endurance, strength, and technique across all three disciplines. Programs typically span 12–20 weeks and include workouts, rest days, nutrition guidance, and race-day preparation. The intensity and volume vary depending on the race distance—sprint, Olympic, half Ironman, or full Ironman. Athletes also receive mobility training and resistance training as an integral part of their balanced training program.
